Hello Rocklin Academy families! My name is Lauren Beyer (formerly Miss Votava) and I am thrilled to be teaching another year of Kindergarten at Rocklin Academy! I joined the Rocklin Academy family in 2019 as a student teacher in Kindergarten with Mrs. Reno. I fell in love with all of the exceptional students, staff, and families at our school along with the amazing Core Knowledge curriculum that we teach. I am excited for another year with my partner teachers Mrs. Reno and Miss Wood!

I graduated with a B.A. in Elementary Education and an endorsement in Literacy from the University of Idaho. I am from Rocklin, California but my swimming career brought me to Idaho where I was able to compete on the women's swim team while completing my education. GO VANDALS! I started teaching swim lessons at a young age and believe that coaching swimming is one of the reasons I found my passion for teaching. 

When I am not teaching, I enjoy spending time outside, swimming, biking, boating, and hanging out with my family, friends, and two puppies. Tahoe and Idaho are two of my favorite places to visit! 

I feel honored to be working at such an amazing school and am looking forward to meeting all my Kindergarteners!
