Hello Rocklin Academy families!
My name is Irene Yousef and I look forward to my fifth year teaching fourth grade at Rocklin Academy Turnstone. I have been with Rocklin Academy for over seven years. I started my student teaching in first, second, fourth and sixth grades. I have been honored to work with and learn from all the great teachers here. After I finished my student teaching I began subbing and truly enjoy being able to teach in all the different grade levels. I have been a long-term guest teacher in 3rd and 6th grade. Mrs. Pike and I are very excited to continue working together on the fourth grade team!
I graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science in Child Development from California State University, Sacramento. I attended Cal State Teach Online and received my Multiple Subject Teaching Credential. I take classes over summer breaks to go towards getting my Master’s Degree in Education. I live in Roseville and enjoy being outdoors, sitting by the fire reading a good book and spending time with my family and friends. I especially enjoy spending time with my nephew playing blocks or reading books! I am excited to meet my niece this September!
I am looking forward to working with you and your children. I believe if we all work as a team we can create the best environment for the students to be successful. My goal this year is to create a learning environment where the students can grow and thrive. I have a passion for helping students succeed and will make myself available to you and your children.
We are going to have a fabulous year!
