Hello Rocklin Academy families!
My name is Natalie Singleton and I'm looking forward to my thirteenth year of teaching!
I have a passion for teaching as I love kids and creating exciting and engaging learning environments where all children can thrive and reach their highest potential! I have previously taught kindergarten, fifth, and sixth grades. While every grade level is enjoyable, I truly love the joy and excitement of the primary grades and can't wait to meet this year's fantastic first graders!
I grew up in Northern California (Ferndale) and graduated from Chico State's Integrated Teacher CORE honors program where I received my Bachelors of Arts in Liberal Studies and elementary teaching credential simultaneously. During my first year teaching, I met my now husband Scott, and we have made our home here; raising our son, Noah (6) and daughter Emmerson (4). We enjoy traveling back to our hometowns to spend time with family, running, painting, and hiking in Tahoe (our favorite!).
This year I am so excited to be teaming with my friend, Mrs. Boekestein and our goal is to create a learning environment where the students are loved and can grow and flourish. We plan to bring energy and enthusiasm to the classroom each and every day to create a learning experience your child will never forget!
