We are pleased to announce that beginning Tuesday, July 31, 2018 the National School Breakfast and Lunch Program Free and Reduced–Price Meal Application online processing will be accessible through http://www.heartlandapps.com. You may also download a printable version of the application to complete and return to your school's front office. A hardcopy will be available for pick up in the school office when open for the new 2018-19 school year. Please complete only one application per family.
If you child was on the program last year in this district, there is a thirty business day grace period at your old eligibility before you will lose benefits. If they qualified in another district, please contact our office for transfer of benefits.

You can check the status of your student's meal account eligibility if you have completed a Free and Reduced-Priced Meal application or if they are automatically eligible because of enrollment in the CalFresh, CalWORKs or McKinney Vento programs by going to SchoolLunchStatus.com.
BREAKFAST is not served at the Turnstone campus.
Prepay your student's meal account
All students are given a lunch account which is accessed by the cashier by the student giving their first and last name. Students who qualify for the Free or Reduced Lunch Program follow the same procedure so there is no overt identification. Lunches are served on a cash or pre-paid basis. Parent/guardians may prepay for lunches in advance online at www.mySchoolBucks.com or in the front office daily. In the event of forgotten lunch money, students may charge a lunch to their account, but must bring payment promptly.
When their account becomes $10.00 overdrawn, a student will only be given a courtesy meal consisting of crackers and a piece of whole fruit until the account is paid and prepayment funds are paid. A notice will be sent home with the student when there are 2 lunches left, 1 lunch left or they are out of money or overdrawn on their account. Check or Cash:
As always, you can bring money personally or send it with your student. If you are sending in cash, please place it in an envelope marked clearly with your student's first and last name and the dollar amount. For checks, please make the check out to Rocklin Elementary School and write your child’s first and last name in the memo section at the bottom.
