Hello, my name is Lynette Chappell. I grew up in Walnut Creek, California. I completed a Bachelor’s Degree from California State University, Sacramento and completed a Multiple Subject Teaching Credential with a Cross-Cultural Language and Academic Development Credential from California State University, Fresno.
Over many years I have worked with students from pre-school to the collegiate level. I am thrilled to be continuing my teaching career at the Rocklin Academy Family of Schools. I could not be more excited about being part of the faculty at Turnstone.
I am married to a terrific man named Rich. After marrying my husband, we moved to Rocklin to begin our life together. We have two wonderful children. My philosophy of education is to connect with the students to create an active engaging environment that fosters an enthusiasm for lifelong learning. I believe students should be taught to celebrate and respect each other’s uniqueness and strengths. Students should be taught in a safe, nurturing environment where respect is always present.
