Great News! Prop 39 In Lieu Agreement for WSCA
We are excited to announce Rocklin Academy has reached an agreement with Rocklin Unified School District regarding an in lieu of Proposition 39 agreement which provides $1.1 million in assistance with our facilities, cash flow assistance by allowing our costs our facility cost payments from sharing the Ruhkala and Rocklin Elementary School sites to occur after the end of each school year, and provisions for providing facilities and fields for sports and performing/fine arts activities.
The agreement is the culmination of three years of hard work between the Academy and the District. The agreement provides very important financial support for Western Sierra and for our extra-curricular activities. Finally, this agreement benefits and strengthens all of Rocklin Academy. We are pleased with this agreement as part of ongoing, positive work with Rocklin Unified School District. |

Rocklin Academy and Western Sierra - Outstanding API Scores!
Congratulations and thank you to all Rocklin Academy staff, board members, parents and students. Rocklin Academy Turnstone and Rocklin Academy Meyers Street, with API scores of 963 and 956, respectively, are the highest scoring schools in Rocklin, Placer County, AND Sacramento, El Dorado and Yolo counties.
Western Sierra Collegiate Academy also scored very well, with an API of 893, making it one of the highest scoring middle/high schools in the county and surrounding counties. This is a 21 point increase, an outstanding accomplishment for a school that was only in its second year. |

USC Ranks Rocklin Academy Meyers Street Number One Charter School in Northern California and Number Two Charter in State
Los Angeles, CA – According to the fifth annual University of Southern California School Performance Dashboard, Rocklin Academy Meyers Street campus is the number 1 charter school in northern California and the number 2 charter school in the state of California. The USC report serves to strengthen accountability among California charter schools and includes for the first time the state’s top 10 charter campuses. |
